Title 22 to be revised
Help required for CMIA response
After 30 plus years and CMIA members grumbling , the California Department of Public Health's (CDPH) Center for Healthcare Quality, began the process of revising Title 22. Your help is required to guide the CMIA response that will be defined at our next Board meeting. The main area of interest is § 70853, Electrically Sensitive Areas.
For example in its current form Title 22 requires all devices be tested at least once a year. One proposal will permit hospitals to provide a risk assessment to define PM
schedules. Click here to view the original Article 8 (and 9) with modifications suggested by the California Hospital Association (CHA). You may attend the Board meeting or email suggestions.
