Performs diagnostic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of sophisticated complex electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical biomedical equipment in a healthcare facility Examples include ventilators, anesthesia machines, ultrasound, surgical lasers, infusion systems, patient monitoring systems, and other electro-mechanical and microprocessor-based instrumentation. Repairs and maintains other non-direct patient care equipment. Should have general IT and cybersecurity knowledge related to the healthcare technology environment. Evaluates new, proposed and existing equipment and related maintenance programs making recommendations for changes. Drives customer satisfaction through Service Excellence. May participate as a site leader as part of their position.
