Working in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) for Sodexo, you will partner with our Healthcare clients to manage their clinical technology needs. ISE I Position Description:
Under direct supervision, this person will inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging equipment, devices, system, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems. Participate in on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements.
The ISE 1 will possess:
- 1+ years of imaging experience (preferably radio frequency, X-ray portables, C-Arms, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, etc.)
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
- Ability to complete preventative & corrective maintenance on medical devices with limited supervision
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule as required
Technical Duties and Responsibilities of ISE I:
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and tools
- Knowledge of basic networking theory
- Knowledge of departmental policies, procedures, and standards
- Knowledge of safety precautions when servicing high voltages and working with ionizing radiation
- Ability to analyze electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical equipment
- Ability to isolate, test, and replace defective parts
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance inspections
- Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs, calibration, and tests
- Ability to run diagnostic programs
- Skills in testing electronic, radiologic, and mechanical equipment
- Skills in manual dexterity, hand-to-eye coordination, and color vision

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of imaging equipment within a healthcare environment
Basic Functional Experience – 3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
