First let me begin by saying that it is an absolute honor and privilege for me to have the chance to serve you, the Bay Area CMIA members. I’ve spoken with many of you, and have been given nothing but encouragement and support. I am truly blessed to be a part of this organization, and I cannot thank you enough for allowing me the opportunity to promote the interests of CMIA.
Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Anthony Faddis –I’m your newly elected Chapter President for the Bay Area. I believe we live in an incredibly exciting time. Medical technology is progressing at an ever-increasing pace, and now more than ever it necessary for organizations like ourselves to unite members in the Healthcare Technology Management community to have an open, intelligent discussion in how to best apply these technologies to deliver patient care.
From newer technologies disrupting healthcare (AI, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Internet of Medical Things) to more familiar topics (Ventilators, Sterilization, Imaging, Equipment standards) it is more important than ever for HTM professionals to continue to educate and elevate themselves. We have a unique opportunity to utilize CMIA to help better ourselves, and better the industry while strengthening the HTM community here in the Bay Area.
